Prosciutto Crudo is an Italian dried ham made from quality pork leg, which is loaded only with salt. The salt is then removed from the surface of the meat and the leg is then aged for several months.
Due to the long maturation period, prosciutto acquires its characteristic, deep red color and the fat on it remains snow-white. Its taste is soft and sweet, thanks to the humid Italian climate.
